Mayor of Vestland County Jon Askeland, Minister of Transport Jon Ivar Nygård and mayor of Bjørnafjorden, Trine Lindborg, were responsible for the ceremonial opening of the new road between Os and Bergen. The ribbon was cut using an axe and chopping block from the Oselvar workshop.
